PLANTAIN STORIES COMING SOON
My children were usually my best trial patients. When my oldest son was about 5 years old we were at a family reunion and he got stung by a wasp on his elbow area. He immediately began swelling up. I got kind of excited because I wanted to prove to my family that plantain, which conveniently grows along ditch banks, grassy fields, etc., was growing along the ditch bank across the road. Well, my son was not as excited as I was to go plantain hunting in order to prove a point about the healing power of herbs. It only took a moment to locate some plantain and within moments of applying a fresh leaf poultice, his wasp sting was reduced and the family was amazed.
